Integrated Design Process
The Integrated Design Process (IDP) is a fundamental source of direction for all our projects. IDP is an inclusive, participatory design methodology that targets a building’s life-cycle and seeks to maximize building performance through sustainable measures. It is based on a collaborative and cross-functional approach to design, calling for collaboration between the Client, Architect, full consultant team, users, and any other invested groups. All consultants are involved from the inception of the project, through to design and construction. This holistic building approach is key to developing an appropriate, fully integrated systems and energy efficient response.
MSA utilizes the IDP approach to enable sustainable design success for any team, and have used this method in many diverse design situations. Client involvement in the design process, a key component in the IDP, is the basis of our success.
